More than one in two people express a desire to move within the next five years away from their current place of residence and of these, 1 in 4 say they intend to buy a property or rent for many years. At the same time, it is noteworthy that 1 in 5 say they are considering moving or buying property in the future in another country, while in Greece the rate of home ownership remains at a record high compared to other European countries at 73%.

These data are recorded in a survey recently conducted by the world's leading real estate network RE/MAX, with the participation of approximately 16,000 people from 22 countries in Europe. The survey included respondents from Greece and recorded, among other things, emerging trends in real estate.
